Welcome to our popular puppy and dog training school we affectionately call Prime Pups.
We are passionate about training dogs of all ages and have developed weekly classes that we feel stand out from all the others. Prime Pups School was created and developed by Allsorts Dog Training when it was felt there was insufficient understanding of what dogs really need at different stages of their lives and that classes should be fun, informative and engaging and most importantly, relevant. It is the school’s endeavour and delight to bring you what we feel are the critical elements of socialising and learning for all ages of dogs—from young puppies, to adolescents to adult dogs.
Our Courses
Early Learning Pups
For puppies 8–16 weeks of age.
A 6-week course focusing on building resilience, confidence and social skills. Classes are based in safe, indoor spaces with multiple opportunities for learning and socialising in all aspects of our human world.
School Pups
All sociable dogs from 4 months of age.
A 6-week course and a prerequisite to our Top Teens program that teaches novice obedience skills. Learn the mechanics of training new concepts to your dog while building focus around distractions in outdoor environments.
Top Teens
For adolescent dogs and beyond.
A progressive 6-week training course for School Pups graduates. Perfect for easily distracted, worried or thrill-seeking adolescent dogs. Advance their obedience with a focus towards calmness and safety skills.
Beyond the Classroom
We love to share with you our knowledge, skills and tips to ensure you and your dog become the best partnership for life and are here throughout your journey. We love nothing better than seeing your and your dog develop and grow, you become part of our family of Prime Pups. We only use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure dogs willingly engage in their learning for long term behaviours.
